Yes, as part of his duties to address whether the Foreign Judgement offends Brazil public policy, national sovereignty, etc., the judge does ensure U.S. procedural standards were applied. We know the Florida Judge has performed his duties well, and likely will continue to do so.
That's not an issue, and no one suggested it was an issue.
The Brazil Court can set aside the Judgement for other reasons noted by me many times, and as recently as yesterday.
