I do not understand why this deal is not happening now/recently after the 5th circuit ruling + SC ignoring the appeals. Waiting until the lame duck if Trump loses creates a small window of time a) for execution and b) to be mucked up by a new incoming Tsy/FHFA team. disappointing.
