Treasury has been "stealing" for 11 years, what makes you think they'll give up the goods when they don't have to? Wake up.

Yeah, there is no reason to believe that Treasury, who has fought for every inch in the lawsuits and for every penny in negotiations with FHFA (see the liquidation preference increase language in the letter agreements), will suddenly have a change of heart and give up anything that they don't absolutely have to.

This whole idea of the courts smacking the government down has always just been a daydream. Treasury has a lot of control here, even if the NWS gets struck down and unwound.
