Go count how many "major breakthroughs" have been announced.

I am sure I should not conclude that breakthroughs are a bad thing. It is left to you to decide which breakthroughs are significant and which aren't.

The point of how a breakthrough is seen isn't whether or not the adjectives are similar, but that the science of a company is progressing. We will see if the anticipation is worth it, when we see the news.

Maybe Dr. Kane gains more accreditation, or maybe the new IP firm Workman Nydegger makes good. Either way, you should expect more trumpeting of accomplishments. It is typical for companies to do basic tasks like self promotion. Bellyaching over such things is petty.
