I agree, great stuff. The longs should all chip in say $20 a year, and then vote on great posts, and the winner would get a free drink from the participants. Ok, probably too hard logistically, but this would no doubt be one of the annual winners. As has been said, you often combine good science and speculation. I'm grateful.

below direct response from source... 13 planned, 12 built... based on a quick google search looks like lots of RBLs on their own web pages claiming 13 instead of 12 --- so sue them for misinformation (if only that could be done on B Boards) jk

whew, glad we got that pressing Qs resolved in light of IPIX efforts to fend off a potential pandemic

Originally, NIAID awarded 13 construction grants for RBLs. 12 of the labs actually moved forward and were built. To answer your question, the current list of 12 RBLs is correct.
