Amen, Davy; amen.
The state regulatory authorities seem to be in the information dissemination game, not in the investigation and prosecution business.
The SEC, as wiser people than I have been saying, will not climb into the sewer to go after the slimeballs in the OTC BB investment game enterprise. Our SEC is a tired, old bureaucracy, not a crime-fighting proactive (how about semi-active) investigative and prosecutorial agency whose mission is to protect the citizens and investors against organized corrupt practices. They often arrive after the building has burned down, i. e., bankruptcy, to look into the situation. Take ENRON as an example. Kenny Boy was the prez's leading fund-raiser. ENRON was a driving force in Houston financial and other spheres. "You want us to go down to Texas and open a can of worms involving President Bush and Houston movers-and-shakers?" All IMHO.
