Dew, FP, I am not aware of any drug therapy that is effective for clinical restenosis due to hyperproliferation of neointima or scaring, which occurs in roughly 25% of BMS patients. Is there such a treatment available? On the other hand, there are drugs avaliable for helping to prevent other causes of restenosis, namely thrombosis and atheroscleropic restesnosis.
