It's Trump's insistence, beyond all else even leading to a costly government shut down. It's not called compromise, it's called irrational
insistence on building a wall which is not needed, since most illegal guns and drugs move through established border crossings.

Closing gun show and other loopholes on the gun front would help stem the flow
of guns into Mexico, but who cares if American guns create mayhem in Mexico, eh.

Democrats may eventually yield to more of Trump's wall demand, then, even if and when,
how many years, even decades, would it be hung up in courts by eminent domain cases.
