Federal officials are pointing the finger at New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio after an illegal immigrant allegedly killed a 92-year-old Queens woman.

Reeaz Khan, a 21-year-old illegal immigrant from Guyana, is charged with two counts each of second-degree murder and first-degree sexual abuse.
ICE says they lodged a detainer against Khan on Nov. 27 after he was apprehended for assaulting his father during a fight in their home.

Police charged Khan with misdemeanor assault, criminal possession of a weapon, and harassment. He was then released without bail.

Six weeks later, Khan was arrested in connection with the sexual assault and murder of 92-year-old Maria Fuertes.
