Bill IMHO the price will be based on BOOK VALUE of the underlying assets.
If they are attempting somewhere in the future to take this private they have to keep the numbers under 1999 shareholders.
Our bank HOLDCO is private and does it the same way, shares can only be sold back to the bank at fair value and only current shareholders can purchase any stock that has been sold back to the bank.
It was originally a public company and we went out with a GOOD tender offer bought the stock and took the numbers down to 399 or 500 shareholders, can't remember which it was at the time which used to be the cut off number to go private.
And it pays quarterly divies like clock work and very good ones.
If what I think will happen here I do NOT THINK any will be upset with the OFFER made here!
