It's not socialized medicine. You're showing your ignorance again. The government doesn't control it nor deliver it. Can your limited brain capacity understand that? The VA is socialized medicine. England has socialized medicine. Canada does not. It's single payer.

I am conflicted about Bernie.

I am not one bit conflicted about Bernie. He is a Communist and has been his whole life. Study his history. The "Democratic Socialist" moniker is a ruse, as he knows damn well if he was to call himself a Communist (as he is), he could not get one vote.

Venezuela is supposed to be "Socialist", but you see who supports Maduro? Russia and China, both of which were going to create a "Worker's Paradise". Well, how did that work out? Both countries have free education and healthcare for those that are slave laborers.

The educated elitists in America may very well be "Book Smart" but have the common sense of a rutabaga. They would actually enslave themselves because they hate Trump. The epitome of stupidity. Thank God for the everyday worker in America that have survived by commonsense and can see thru the sham perpetrated by those that think they know better.

I am conflicted about Bernie-let me help ya

Let's assume Bernie wins the Demonrat nomination. We already know short of the fat orangutan keeling over, the Returdicans will nominate Trumpski.

On election day your choices would be:

Sanders with a lot of bat chit crazy ideas such as Medicare for All, Free Education, etc. So bat chit crazy there's no way to possibly pay for them given the huge national debt, and deficits. A coalition of Moderates plus the Right would block it. What's left would be watered down. All of this Sanders is going to create a socialist America is nonsense.

Would he seek to bring the US to threatening nuclear war with North Korea? Then say he was in love with Kimmy? Unlikely.

Would he seek to apply tariffs on China, and flip flop on it every few days in tweets, injecting repeated huge amounts of FUD into the financial markets? GL in trying to keep China to abolish its Communist state sponsored corporations.

Most importantly, would he try to create an Imperial Presidency? Where he claims Article 2 of the Constitution gives him the right to declare a bogus state of emergency. And then reappropriate funds Congress appropriated. For other unintended uses? Or possibly being frustrated in his agenda, would Bernie still respect Article 1 of the Constitution.

Would he solicit bribes from foreign leaders? Would he use the DOJ to go after his political opponents in the future?

or

Trumpski. Where we already know the answers to all of the questions I posed above for Trumpski. Someone who has no qualms about shredding the Constitution. Someone who thinks foreign diplomacy is just part of a reality show. Someone who has no understanding of economics. Someone who believes hindering our relationship with our NATO allies while being cozy with Putin is cute.

Those are the two choices if Sanders were to win the Demonrat nomination. I still have hope Bloomberg despite getting slammed by the media for being socially incorrect in the past, will get the nomination. Pete is the most intelligent sounding of the candidates. But unclear how he overcomes his baggage with the Black vote. Biden despite his experience, comes off as slow thinking in debates, and might struggle there against Trumpski. Unclear. Your pick Amy comes off as mealy mouth.

I do agree with you Bernie would be a hard sell. Again, not because he would create a socialist America - he can't. But rather Trumpski would play that fear angle up. With most of the moderates staying home, and our wanna be dictator winning a 2nd term. If the Senate then remains Returdican, then say goodbye to the Constitution as we know it. No that's not far fetched anymore.
