A few months ago I would have said they wouldn’t vote for him.

About a week ago I thought maybe things have changed.

On Sunday I was with my 92 year old staunch Republican father and I mentioned Buttigieg and Sanders pretty much tying in Iowa. He said “Is that the gay guy and the Jewish guy?” He went on to say that we have never had a Jewish or gay president and I think he was presuming that we would still never have a Jewish or gay president.

I think there are many who feel the same way about a gay president but maybe not a Jewish president.

With that said, today I am back to thinking that the closed minded would probably not vote for him.

Then again, would they vote for a woman?
