16h ago 02:11 New Iowa poll shows close race in first voting state
A new poll from Iowa shows a close race in the first voting state between five Democratic presidential candidates: Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, Pete Buttigieg .. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/pete-buttigieg , Elizabeth Warren and Amy Klobuchar.
But perhaps most interestingly, only 47% of likely caucusgoers say they are firmly decided on which candidate they will support, meaning more than half of Iowa Democrats could change their mind before the caucuses on Monday.
Iowa voters are notoriously indecisive about their presidential choices, with polls often swinging significantly up until the day of the caucuses.
However, voters in Iowa also expect to see the candidates they are supporting in person, which could pose a problem for the four Democratic senators -- Sanders, Warren, Klobuchar and Michael Bennet -- who are currently stuck in Washington because of the impeachment trial.

9m ago 18:17 Roberts declines to reads Paul's question
Rand Paul has submitted his question, which appears to have included the name of the alleged whistleblower, as the Republican senator threatened to do.
But Supreme Court chief justice John Roberts, who previously said he would not say the name of the alleged whistleblower aloud, refused to read the question.
“The presiding officer declines to read the question as submitted,” said Roberts, who then turned to take the next question from Senate Democrats.
