I would add to your equation India, that is emerging as a major player in Far East in times to come. It is already positioning itself to become one.

This is a very plausible scenario if one looks at past secular and cyclical bull/bear markets,however, the applecart could be upset. The incursion of Isreal into Syria could drastically change the terrorist perception of urgency and, consequently, there response. This is a very interesting intellectual exercise into how political maneuvers could profoundly impact economic reality. Your scenario could get much worse,oh ,the old wall of worry. Gold anyone?
