Thanks for the response on the QQQ put question. I think it's great to look at the three kings of the QQQ as well, but the volume (either in sheer numbers or in dollars) on those guys simply doesn't compare to the volume on the QQQ series. Yes, there are more calls than puts on those three, but not to the level of the QQQ imbalace.
The last few months have had this same imbalance, and each month we've closed above max pain on the QQQs. It might be an accident, or it might be causal. I dunno.
But I do know Zeev likes to take the QQQs out of the equity put call ratio, yet when I see the QQQ puts piling up, I wondered how he treats them... or if he does. Goodness knows I haven't been able to use the imbalance to my profit, so I'd love to hear from others who have useful interpretations.
