Ok you guys have convinced me. which album has that solo on it? I don't remember ever hearing any of the Gentleman's music before, but I didn't listen to jazz either. I may hit the music store on the way home. Give me a list to look for! Heavy Weather is the name of the album?

ot I picked up Jaco's debut CD today. I saw Heavy Weather but it was in SACD format, so I left it on the shelf. unwillingly. Incredible bass licks! Love it! It seems like Todd Rundgren had somebody playing a fretless bass on some of his Utopia albums, because that wailing type of sound is like alot of stuff I used to listen to. I'm putting the Anthology on my Christmas list! LOL!
