I think there are only a couple of scenarios here. 1. They lied about design freeze just to prop up the stock. Or 2. they do have a viable product that they really do believe in but failed to see some unknown issue that sprang up. I find it hard to believe though that if they have been purposely misleading people, that someone hasn't dimed them out. The more people who know a lie is being told, the more likely it is that someone will snitch. I used to get the newsletter from a specific person at Titan but her name is no longer associated with the company. Someone somewhere knows what is realky going on and the truth will cone out sooner or later.
It was hardware design freeze if I am not mistaken. Software is ever evolving and there will always be upgrades. I still believe VIA educated guess that the software could be the problem, but hardware design freeze is not infallible and I would also not be surprised if there are hardware tweaks as well. You can all scream that they are liars, but I have seen first hand how this stuff gets built. It is not that easy.
