This sounds like Benghazi all over again. The Republicans will just keep having hearing after hearing after hearing hoping to get their way.

How did that work out for Benghazi?

All I can say to that is, obviously you did not watch the hearing. Horowittz unequivocally stated that a security briefing was given as a guise to try and gather evidence against him and his campaign

DOJ actually found strong anti-Hillary bias at the FBI

Donald Trump has gone on and on about the “insurance policy” supposedly undertaken by the FBI that was allegedly meant to keep him out of office.

In the process, he’s made Peter Strzok and Lisa Page household names.

But the new inspector general report actually unearthed plenty of anti-Hillary Clinton bias in the form of — oh, here you go — a series of texts.

Truthout:

[Inspector General Michael] Horowitz did find, however, that numerous FBI agents sent anti-Clinton text messages and expressed a desire to investigate the Clinton Foundation, which was at the center of numerous baseless Trump conspiracy theories during the campaign and after the election.

“If you hear talk of a special prosecutor … I will volunteer to work [on] the Clinton Foundation,” one FBI agent wrote to another on Nov. 9, 2016, according to the report.

The agent also wrote that he “was so elated with the election” that it was like “watching a Superbowl comeback.”

This is remarkable. It's basically the inverse of Page and Strzok.

And if you’ll recall, it was the assiduous work of anti-Clinton elements in one FBI field office that (probably) led to Trump’s election in the first place. Back in the fall of 2016, pro-Trump forces in the FBI may have forced James Comey’s hand shortly before he released his infamous 11th hour letter about “her emails.”

This is not the first time Horowitz found anti-Clinton bias at the FBI. He released another report in 2018 finding that former FBI Director James Comey reopened the probe into Clinton’s emails just before the election out of fear that anti-Clinton FBI agents at the bureau’s New York field office would leak information.

So there you have it. Every time you see conservative trolls mentioning “the lovers” Peter Strzok and Lisa Page — and you can bet they will ... repeatedly — you can send them this.

They won’t care, of course, but then they don’t care about much of anything anymore, do they?
