I think he gave them 90 days to present a plan back in mid September.
But that is just a request that appears to have been passive aggressively responded to. The FDA bashing of CBD a few weeks ago looked like territorialism to me. "I'll show you"
The result of their inaction is legislating it to force them to do something.
Part of his request, if I understand correctly, is that they temporarily make CBD legal and they have 90 days to come up with a robust and thorough plan. I think this could hurt us more than the wait because it would make the fraudsters legal if only short term. They will continue to undercut us and grow.
I'm going to visit the office of my senator and congressman this week to discuss this and share my concerns. My message is "vote for amendments in the budget to fix this, follow the recommendations of industry experts on how to do it "
IMO if the amendments pass it will be 90 days for FDA to present their plan, another 30-90 for them to implement. I would love for them to prove me wrong.
