I call it excuse-making, finger-pointing and blame-shifting.
Perhaps a management team with a little more drive and industry savvy would have gotten us over the finish line by now. Perhaps the technology isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
It’s definitely not yet ready for prime time commercially. And it sure doesn’t appear that commercial viability is on the near-term horizon.
“They try and shut out an entire energy industry and push us to fund their own business model for their own profits” is the real “created narrative”.
The best thing this company could do is actually prove all the potential management has raved about for two decades. If there is a marketable solution, the market will recognize it.
Currently, the market recognizes opportunity in renewables. That’s just the way it is in a free-market economy where fossil fuel-based solutions have yet to be proven.
So it is not reasonable to expect government to force one on the market, especially if packaged in the dishonest wrappings of climate change denial.
