Yup, I would have expected to see some picks/pans like that....primarily predicated on the TRUMP SLAM history...if nothing else.
As you know, as a movie buff (of old), movies are like impeachment hearings...everyone has an opinion. Right now, listen to CNN/MSNBC Trump is the next one in the toaster. Watch/listen to FOX and others....it's much ado about nothing as the SENATE will squash it all.
As for THE IRISHMAN --- it's far from the best movie I've seen. And, I'd never have spent a cent to see it (thank you Netflix) --- but, (as I stated several posts ago), I continue to be intrigued (as are many) with the HOFFA story. It's a DETROIT THING, I guess.
But, I'm also a MAFIA sort of freak ---- quite honestly, I think with a wrong turn here or there, they may have had me in that movie! ;-)
It's a given that the MAFIA was not the team to get to heaven with....they did have some tremendous skill sets when it came to "taking care of things" ! Said differently, I wonder if Sheeran was still around...or Hoffa or ??????? if we might be talking about this and IMPEACHMENT in the same breath !?!?!? :-D
