Thanks. I don't have a stockcharts.com account anymore, but if you're interested, you could try viewing $nyad with "fill the chart" on the monthly. I recall being able to see $GOLD farther back than 1990 this way. I know that the vast majority of their data doesn't go back farther than 1990 though.
