Castro finally said what i had been thinking all along when he asked one of the witnesses whether
an attempted crime (robbery, bribery) could be crime even if the demands were not delivered.

i was picturing a policeman going into a room in which four men were sitting with a pile of cash. The policeman having just heard
a robbery call and having been told by a witness to the crime the men had gone through the door the policeman had used.

And the robbers defense being that the policeman was only told they had been seen
going into that room, so to suggest they had done anything wrong was simply hearsay.

I don’t remember who said it on MSNBC but the idea was that the Republicans were all over the place to confuse the audience so that they would stop watching. I know they were making it unwatchable for me at one point.
