Stock, not sure if this a good or bad idea, but it might be in your best interest to bring a tape recorder. This way their is no misunderstanding about interpretation of conversation. Its laid out exactly as stated (and nothing is overlooked). They may shy away from this and not be as forthright with their answers as a result, so use your best judgement (if you hadn't already considered this).

I also want to suggest that you meet with the Colchester mayor or someone else representing the town government. IMO, its very important for you to get them on your side. Also maybe they can put additional pressure on Sulja Bros and their owners to cooperate with you guys.

Also -- you may want to find a local (and CANADIAN) attorney (maybe Gary can help you with that) to see about also filing some sort of initial claims/motions against Petar, the Suljas, & Sulja Bros. so that there is something on the books early that reflects your legal intentions to recoup your money from them.
