Trump inherited a far better economy and stock market than did Obama. Period.
Those touting Obama are leaving out a couple of salient points. First off, Obama started with the market at rock bottom. If it had not rebounded it would defy market movement. It's called a bounce.
The second point not mentioned is interest rates. To be precise, they were zero. Even after Obama pissed away all the money given to him for "shovel ready" job creation.
Obama did some good things. But he was a poor money manager and was more interested in his "Health Care Legacy" than he was about the stock market and the economy.
Same with Job Creation, which was not as stellar, after all the jobs lost during that economic debacle.
In other words, it is more difficult to improve on even a moderate economy than it is one at rock bottom. Obama even conceded that manufacturing jobs were gone forever. Trump waved the infamous "Magic Wand" that Obama said was necessary, and the economy and employment have been on a steady rise from stagnant to booming.
Give credit where credit is due.
