But that’s for another diary, because I wanted to post this other goody that I have wanted do since I joined last week.
Yes, we are fully aware of all the hacks at the NY Times, but overshadowed in his elite ways of being an elite hack in the Big Apple is the Daily News’ Michael Goodwin. For those that don’t know anything about him, Goodwin claims to be a "moderate", and he won a Pulitzer. He used to work at the Times back in the day so maybe he got it there, but anyway, that award nowadays is more tarnished than Floyd Landis and Marion Jones combined.
Goodwin is evidence in that despite his claims to be neutral, the man hates anything that even resembles a little Democrat in us. He shows it on Lou Dobbs each and every night, and of course, sometimes, Dobbs emboldens him to do so.
He is your typical GOP, I hate everything left hack who camouflages himself as "fair" (he really has a scary crush over Rudy Giuliani and wanted to pop champagne when Elliot Spitzer blew it).
He always hated Hilary Clinton, and now since Barack Obama has emerged, anything that he writes is always negative. He is angry that Obama is a clear choice right now, and makes sure some easily persuaded dummies here in NYC see any possible negative that the Illinois Senator is brought up. The last straw for me reading his crap was on June 21st, when he wrote things like this, pissed that Obama wasn’t going to be Mr. Nice Guy to "The Spatula":
