Glad to see you focused on the pertinent part of that message.
This is like yelling into the wind - tiring and unproductive.
No, we get it, rollingcrock. We are being put in a position of either allowing (thus essentially normalizing), illegal/unethical/unconstitutional behaviour or risking rolling the dice on the political effects of impeachment. Pretty simple.
I don't know if the Dems made the politically correct move, but they made the correct move for to support democratic political norms, the rule of law, ant to protect democracy from foriegn influence.
Trump is base and unsophisticated about everything but branding. He is not sophisticated or well-read enough to understand second and third-order outcomes. He is likely not only the least intellectually nimble president we have ever seen, but lacks almost any desire to inform himself.
Not being rude or nasty. Just calling it what it is. Outside of the Trump kool-aid drinkers, this sort of stuff is common knowledge.
But even if you were correct in your analysis, what you are saying is that Trump wants Democrats to impeach him?! Why? Why would a president want to be seen by the HofR and a majority of the public as so corrupt or acting so distastefully as they would want to bring about impeachment hearings against him?
Why don't you lay out that multi-dementional chess game for me.
