I posted wrong data for spot gold at its recent bottom, got to 1495 (target was 1500, or if lower, then 1450)
My gut is fed disapoints markets next wednesday. They will cut the .25, but not sound super dovish. Not based on any facts, just intuition.
Trump playing interesting game, forcing fed to cut with trade war with China, can you pull off a deal before next summer to help goose his chances to be re-elected, but hold off long enough to get fed to cut rates big time?
IMHO, fed cutting rates will not prevent financial crises next year, and neither will a china deal, unless all tariffs are off by mid december.
