Do you really want to mess with a K1? Do you prepare your own taxes? Best to touch base with your preparer or -- better yet-- accountant. There are multiple complex issues. Will he charge extra? If you really want to invest in a partnership it might be best to own the units directly rather than in an IRA-type account.
