Possibly because the Great PV didn't avail himself of such advice.
My experience in the Corporate world has shown that attorneys live or die on the turn of a single word. Definitely not PV's style.
I personally believe that the attorneys that SS is dealing with are making very sure that every single past utterance via PR and blog are in their hands, and then they need to understand potential criminal/civil liabilities asociated with anything that was said. Then, and only then will they release any new information. I'm sure they have told Steve that everything he says must be cleared through them in order to insure the best outcome in the legal domain.
Laying on top of those concerns, are the concerns for the continued existence of the Sulja organization and the well being of its employees. Again, providing coverage to insure the least exposure on the part of any of the employees who have had public exposure or interactions.
Then, and only then will the attorneys countenance the release of additional information.
In the order of priorities for the attorneys, whether you see a closing PPS today of $.027, $.045 or $17.27 is completely immaterial.
Having been through legal reviews myself on the job, they can be exasperating slow. The attorneys move at their own pace, not the pace of the business you are trying to run.
However, Steve and colleagues ignore or superceed the decisions of the attorneys at the peril of their freedom and business.
They will release when the legal boys are convinced that things are proper to release. Only then. not before.
In the meantime, perhaps the impatient ones among us should turn off the computer and stop hitting the refresh key every thirty seconds.
