Those cases are related to the unregistered sales of securities, ponzi schemes, failure to make disclosures to investors, etc. Tokens are traded on digital currency markets, not on the stock market. Therefore, they are currently unregulated by the SEC or any other body. The SEC might try to change that in the future, but for now the SEC has nothing to do with the digital currency market except in cases where securities companies involved in cryptocurrencies use illegal practices in the stock market. Their involvement is the same as with any public company in any sector involved in illegal activities of their securities.
