I googled "chemometrics" and then from the first bloody paragraph with an equation i had never even dreamed of with symbols I had never seen i googled a phrase with "regression" in it and ended up with the same article; it was the tightest circle I had ever gone round. That all took about 3 min as no way am I going to have a go at it tonight.
Then i thought if this guy understands this stuff he must have something going for him, then .. so why is he such an asshole, sometimes? I thought arrogance? is that it? is he maybe a real "smart" bastard who feels he is smarter than the rest of us and that's why he talks to people the way he does?
