Speaking of Bambi, she is in my backyard right now who would want to kill her?
There are some of us that hunt for the pleasure of eating wild game and not just to kill something. Not much different than slaughtering a cow or pig to dress your supper table. I'm not saying all. I know my share of "Horn Hunters" and "Trophy Hunters", but many hunters enjoy game as many fishermen love the bounty of fishing.
