Let's think about this logically.
What does Ontario have to gain from getting involved here? We don't know the specific terms of the completed deal (hopefully we will soon!) but let's just assume it's a merger, joint venture, partnership, etc... any of the above really.
What does Ontario gain from buying in here? They're not injecting that kind of cash into PCTL just to take over and liquidate the assets. They're not just trying to make a quick buck. Can't imagine that's the case.
So my question is... what kind of opportunity is out there on the horizon that makes them even want to do this? It wouldn't be just "oh I believe in the technology" or "wow this thing is great" etc. That's an emotional argument. That's not a tangible one you get people to throw $5 million at.
I'd have to think that any company who is halfway competent would want to ensure that their investment has a high probability of paying off in the short or long-term.
So my question is... what OTHER deal is also in the works that makes this maneuver attractive for Ontario and Ron? What licensing agreement or placing agreement, sale, etc is in the works as well?
Have to imagine there's one there somewhere.
