There WAS evidence of WMD (your statement to the contrary not-withstanding)however, that evidence was incorrect. You want to blame the Bush adminisistration, fine,..feel free to do so. However, try to remember that all our intelligence agencies as well as the intelligence agencies of every major govt. also concluded Saddam had WMD.

Oh,..and also try not to dismiss that Saddam made every objective appearance that he possessed WMD's,...and BLATANTLY violated 32 UN resolutions which would have allowed for clear and unequivocal clarification on the issue.

Yes,..we invaded a country,..but to try and make it out as if we were the aggressors is plain 'hate America' pablum. There is such a thing as reasonable self-defense. No one would have a problem with a man defending himself against another man who reasonably gave every objective indication he had a bomb and would 'maybe' detonate it. Seems to me you just want to fault America.

Moreover,...my argument of "throwing your weight around to promote your way of thinking" ...which you have such a problem with,.... isnt exactly what I said,....... but Ill go with it......(cause I see nothing wrong with 'peace through strength')... ...

You seem to actually engender a moral equivalency between what America stands for in comparison with the Islamic-Extremists*. Actually, your argument is even worse than that,..because you dont even mask an equivalency 'per se' but proport that America is un-principled to do so. The truth is....American values ARE Hierarchically more principled [less evil] than the Mid-East belief system. 'WE LOVE LIFE'...IS a more principled value than 'WE HATE LIFE'. I honestly think you are well meaning,..but people like you are MOST DANGEROUS to America (self-hating Americans). If you really believe the world only started hating us after we invaded Iraq,..you are MOST NAIVE.
