Art wasn't a corner case, more a compiler frig. Yes the programs are representative but they also, across the whole two suites, test thoroughly all aspects of cpu and memory performance, which is what I was trying to convey. Cache bound, latency bound, bandwidth bound, it's all tested thoroughly and laid bare for all to see.
