An agreement is not an asset. The company I work for went into a major partnership agreement with another company in our industry over a year ago, and I can guarantee you that the partnership doesn’t show up as an asset on the P&L or Balance Sheet.
Perhaps you can clarify what you mean by asset? Because in terms of accounting and book-keeping, what you’re portraying as an asset is not an asset at all.
