Greg, if you're talking about Russia, unfortunately I can't afford such a trip, but lots of power to ya!! This would be the ultimate DD, particularly if you actually get to talk to the folks like Malyshev, Sozina, etc. and be able to report back your impressions.

Another that I sure would like to meet and perhaps have a cup of coffee with is Stratton Stevens - and that's not nearly as far as Moscow (Montreal). Stevens in effect staked his fine reputation in being associated with Malyshev - would sure like to get his views, in view of events the past 5 or 6 months.

I say go for it (but make sure you'll be able to see them first - would hate to have you waste your money and time and come back empty-handed).

Greg-I've been considering a trip to Russia to conduct DD for AURC, I'm only have a small 20,000 share position in NWOG. Perhaps if we could arrange to conduct dd for both companies, I might be up for the trip....

I was actually considering moving over to Russia to "keep an eye on things," as I can conduct my Web design/publishing work from anywhere I can gain Internet access...

Until other AURC investors pointed out that more than likely I wouldn't be able to get Internet access in the small Siberian towns where Aurus Corp.'s mining operations are located (and where cost of living is very economical)... and said it would be more advantageous to live in Moscow where a new division of AURC is located (but is one of the most expensive cities in the world to live in)....

I finally postponed my notion to visit Russia, considering I didn't relish the thought of freezing my butt-off in Siberia during Winter, after living for many years in warmer climates...

However, I might be talked into going to Russia for a few weeks or so this January, if we could obtain solid confirmation for meeting with officials of both AURC & NWOG.
