there is no need for reverse engineering anything...that's only done if you don't know how to do it in the first place...

EVERYBODY knows how to do it now...that's why its being done in so many places now and likely in places no one knows about yet...

genetically modifying silk worms 10 years ago was cutting edge science..

they can do genetic modification in high school now..lol

this is why I kept saying kim needed to get off his butt and make something happen...but everyone kept insisting that kblb was so far ahead that it would take 20 yrs for anyone to catch up...

once upon a time kim had a huge lead...now he has none..kims fabled frugality rears its ugly head...I always said that was one of kims biggest flaw...his cheapness..

china is likely throwing tens if not hundreds of millions of dollars into their effort...they already have an ENORMOUS advantage in their ability to produce...

by the kim gets to tonnage it wouldn't surprise me to see china be there also...except when kim is cranking out one ton a month, they will be at thousands of tons a month..and they will price their silk at big discounts to whatever kim charges...

the only thing we had going for us against china was the military...I believed they would buy our silk over china...

yes..the military...so what happened to them?..

Wow that somewhat condescending! I guess my brain is to small to understand the process.
Limiting the scope to nuts and bolt”z” is very insightful.
Thanks for the heads up!
