Didn't some Creditors accept shares in lieu of cash? That IMO accounts for the ~10M disparity in the number of shares.

The quantity of those undistributed shares left is determined by AAOC's election to receive Newco shares and/or RON's.

Quote: "then each of AAOC, severally and not jointly, will be deemed to have made Reorganized Common Stock Elections to receive such holder’s Pro Rata Share of the Common Stock Allotment (i.e., Ten Million (10,000,000) shares of Reorganized Common Stock, representing five percent (5%) of the issued and outstanding Reorganized Common Stock as of the Effective Date) in lieu of (i) Runoff Notes (based upon an allocation developed in their sole and absolute discretion) that they would otherwise receive on the Effective Date in their capacity as a holder of Allowed PIERS Claims,"

This is a question that should have been brought up in court when the Goddess was in front of the judge. That could have been what makes up the 1% who knows. Chuck and hosen know, but since there is complete transparency so chuck and hosen have literally cried out in court. The shareholders on the message board being up all sort of scenarios. Hosen can only lie for so long until he is caught.

Mordicai, were these 10,000,000 shares used to reward the directors and officers of WMIH during the first few years? I remember they were all getting annual distributions of WMIH shares following each annual meeting.
