Now that you mention it, I believe you are right. If Moscow got the historic first time ever diplomatic to Israel just for selling defensive missiles to Syria, imagine the diplomatic leverage they have over Israel if they threaten or actually sell the state of the art missiles that can hit Israel with chemical weapons or Nuclear warheads.
