SC, If you're out there, I was wondering if you have any thoughts on the upcoming Window 7 'abandonment' by Microsoft. For years they've been trying to push everybody into their troubled Windows 10 system, but apparently 1/3 of users globally still use Win 7. But they announced that all security updates for Win 7 will cease in January. For a long time you could switch to Win 10 for free, but now you have either pay for it or buy a new computer.

I was curious if you still run Windows or are you using another operating system like the Apple Mac, or perhaps Linux? I'm thinking it may be better to just bail out of Window/Microsoft altogether.

Back when you could switch to Windows 10 for free I tried it (twice), but it seemed so user unfriendly I quickly went back to Win 7, which has been fine, especially when combined with the Google Chrome browser.

Scstocks, since it appears this board has been 'invaded' by trolls, it may be time to consider moving the discussion over to a new board. This is at least an option, unless the troll problem dissipates -

SC, Looks like that hurricane is headed your way. Hopefully it will veer off back into the Atlantic, but good luck with it. Here in Pa we only have some clouds so far. At least we can be grateful to not be in the Bahamas!

Btw, any new strategic moves investment-wise? You and Bigworld are cleaning up on the gold/silver side, so congratulations. I have almost 250 oz of silver, so at least something, and also managed to get some gold and gold ETFs during the run up (IAU, GLDM). Bonds have been doing well, and even though stocks have languished, REIT and utilities ETFs have done well, so can't complain too much. I'd be interested in your current outlook.
