Outside of bombing, and invading Iran there is no way to prevent Iran going nuclear against their will. So why not instead delay till 2030.

Sanctions were working. Those sanctions left in place would surely have resulted in a more favorable deal by now. The only problem with that, is it might have effected Obama's legacy had he not made the deal after Iran walked away from him. Obama folded after Iran left the talks.

The same thing is happening with NK and Jina right now. They are hoping to wait out Trumps first term in hopes of dealing with comrade Bernie.

We can't let that happen!
