I'm of a joking mind to call the bluff of these 'rural separationists'. Virtually every upper Midwest, Ne and west coast State has the same divide.

IF they would simply read where the GDP that is taxed and redistributed is FROM, and where it goes TO, they might change their tune.

I've yet to read a refutation or....in Dubya's words, a refudiation….of those verifiable facts.

No, Porgie doesn't dwell in Whackland. But still, let's consider why some folks in Rep. Halbrook's district or Effingham County, which is actually south of his district, may have a beef.

The current capital expenditure bill associated with our new state budget once again (as always - well when we do have a budget anyway) includes nothing for either his district or Effingham County. Nothing, nada, zip. In other words - zero.
