Well, depends if the foreman/forewoman has an organizing principle to guide the discussion.

Vote. Socratic method. Vote, wash, rinse, repeat.

That movie made a big impression on me, and repeat viewings reinforced that impression.

Nobody will argue against a preliminary vote, for the reasons I gave. As good a start as any.
