What’s wrong with a quick ROI, especially when it can be done repeatedly? How is a tight grip on shares while waiting for a long-term PPS that may never come a better plan?

What if “the shareholder who dumped yesterday” (assuming it was a single shareholder, which no one can know with certainty) turned around and repurchased at a lower price, and now has more shares than she/he originally had?
