It's outside. It's a carport extending off the front of a condo. The roofline of the condo is carried out and around the carport (mansard is like you would see on a convenience store). I first put in shoring posts with a 4x4 on top under the rafters, otherwise the whole thing would crash to the ground. Then I remove the corner post and beam. Tomorrow I'll set a new corner post, put the beam back on top of it and then I'll take out the shoring and move it to the next section, etc..
I'll try and remember to take a camera tomorrow.
This unit had been tented for termite extermination a few years ago. As the budget allows they go back in and repair the damage. It has been a nice steady source of work for a number of years.
