let's see- throw away 53 million common shares he owns and billions of NOLLs! Yea, that's the ticket.

Yes it is the ticket. He used the 49M shares to get the NOLs worth billions and he bought all the assets for their approx real value and got rid of $6B in debt. Its merely a cost of the deal.

You don't seem to understand the 49M shares were a cost of getting the NOLs and being able to get the assets.

To do otherwise would be penny wise pound foolish.
