Well written, blackhawks.
And I agree that Trump will not be remembered as good President. Mostly because of his style, his over reaching on Executive authority (like Obama's Executive Actions--"I have a pen"), his petty Twittering, and on an on.
But I disagree with you on illegal immigration. The Democrats are selling this country down the river in their quest to change the voting demographics of the country. Amnesty for current illegals. Asylum for anyone who can get to the border because their own country does not work.
But is the US supposed to be everyone's solutions to their country's problems?
The tariffs are not a preferable tool--but it China does not listen to the Hague about the South China Sea. And does not listen on illegal IP theft, etc. The whole world wants us to win the China deal--because if China changes its ways it will benefit true free trade for all other countries.
Does Trump go about "selling" or persuading on his position? LOL. NO.
The mythology of the Clinton economic miracle without accounting for the bi-partisan cooperation on taxes and welfare reform and--AND--the influx of taxes from the internet bubble as investors paid capital gains taxes is not something I buy into. The "Clinton Camelot" fantasy is ephemeral.
