For the last damn time. I do not buy, sell, or trade penny stocks and thus nothing you say about them has the slightest relevance to me.
I should have said biotechs are always high risk for potentially high reward. I know this for a fact. I have made literally hundreds of thousands of dollars buying- holding until a drug is approved and then selling. I could have lost just as much if I had not been paying attention. Those kind of stocks require some serious DD.
I have also lost money in biotechs. Not all drugs I thought would get approval did. Fortunately, my profits are considerably ahead of my losses. I would doubt that you've ever owned a biotech although you *might* have owned a Big Pharma stock.
I don't day trade, I don't flip, I don't create portfolios.
You can't just assume that the posters on this board don't know what they're doing. Some of us do.
